How You Can Help Those Impacted by Flooding from Hurricane Harvey

The devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey has created a flooding disaster of epic proportions.  With so many facing property damage and displacement, there is an urgent need for assistance to help those in the storm’s path get back on their feet again.  The Florida Disaster Relief Fund is in place to help in just such an emergency.  The non-profit Florida Realtors Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) was created so Florida’s Realtors can help Realtors and their families when disaster strikes, with funding also used at times for disasters that occur outside the state.  Anyone in need of assistance can request it through filling out this application online.

One way you can help is by assisting the
Totes for Hope drive.  Florida Realtors will supply drawstring tote bags, and members are encouraged to fill the bags with travel-sized toiletry items. For a complete list of recommended items to put into the tote bags, visit Florida Realtors’ Disaster Relief Relief Efforts webpage. You can also donate by clicking the button above.  If you would like to mail in a tax-deductible donation, please make your check payable to “Florida Realtors Disaster Fund, attention Dave Garrison,” and send the check to:
