Median sale prices for both existing homes and condos continued year-over-year increases in January 2017. Statewide, median home sale prices were $220,000, up over 10% from January 2016. Median townhome and condo prices increased 6.6% to $161,000.

Florida’s housing market ended the year on a mixed note. The frenetic sales pace during first three quarters slowed down in the fourth quarter, even though December marked the 49th straight month of year-over-year increases in the median sale price for single-family homes.
Good news continued for Florida’s housing market in November, with more closed sales, higher median prices, more new listings and fewer days on the market. The statewide median sales price for existing single-family homes was $200,000.
